Technology Voucher Program (TVP) is a funding program initiated by the Hong Kong government. Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology Commission is offering the total amount of TVP funding. If you also want to apply for the same, here’s a guide for you.

Steps to Apply for TVP Funding:

1. Prepare Required Documents and Submit Application:

• Prepare the needed documents for TVP funding.
• Register the company’s name with the Technology Voucher Program Funding Administration system.
• Submit the application.
• Submit a copy of the Business Registration Certificate and the same of the technology consultant.
• Provide evidence of valid business operation.
• Give the copy of the identity proof of signatory on the application form and the quotations for expensive items.

2. Assessment of Application:

• Verify the connection to the business of the applicant.
• Verify the budget and implementation details.
• Submit an adverse record of the technology consultant and service provider.

3. Notification of Results:

• When your application gets approved for the TVP funding, you have to sign a funding agreement with the ITC.

4. Project Implementation:

• The project must be completed within a span of 12 months. After that, you have to submit a final project report.

5. Disbursement of TVP Funding:

You must submit the following documents after two months of the completion of the funded project:

• The final report of the project.

• Proof of the deliverables.
• Submit the original or copy of the receipts of each expensive item. If the finding provided is more than HK$50,000, an independent auditor must submit an audited statement with respect to the expenditure. This must be submitted to the ITC. On the other hand, if the funding is less than HK$50,000, you can submit a declaration with the final statement.
• Provide the proof of funding, i.e., the funding has been used for not more than 75% of the actual cost of the project.
